Uppādanirodhavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 759

[759] For whomever, wherever, the eye base (cakkhāyatana) arises, will the mind base (manāyatana) cease for that one there? Yes. Or, for whomever, wherever, the mind base will cease, does the eye base arise for that one there? For those passing away from the five-constituent [existence] (pañcavokāra), for those without eye who are being reborn into the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), and for the formless beings — the mind base will cease for them there, but the eye base does not arise for them there. For those with eye who are being reborn — for them there both the mind base will cease and the eye base arises.
