[845] Where the truth of origin (samudaya-sacca) does not arise, does the truth of the path (magga-sacca) not arise there? Yes. Or else, where the truth of the path does not arise, does the truth of origin not arise there? In the states of loss and woe (apāya): there the truth of the path does not arise, but it is not the case that the truth of origin does not arise there. Among the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta): there both the truth of the path does not arise and the truth of origin does not arise.
