[888] For whomever, wherever, the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) does not arise, has the truth of origin (samudayasacca) not arisen for that one there?
For those passing away from the four-aggregate (catuvokāra) and five-aggregate (pañcavokāra) [planes], at the moment of the dissolution of the mind (citta) in the course of existence (pavatti), and at the moment of the arising of the path (magga) and of fruition (phala) in the formless [plane] (arūpa): the truth of suffering does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the truth of origin has not arisen for them there. For those of the Pure Abodes (suddhāvāsa) at the moment of the dissolution of the rebirth mind (upapatti-citta), and for those passing away from [the plane of] non-percipient beings (asaññasatta): for them there, the truth of suffering does not arise and the truth of origin has not arisen.
Or else, for whomever, wherever, the truth of origin has not arisen, does the truth of suffering not arise for that one there?
For those of the Pure Abodes at the moment of the arising of the rebirth mind, and for those being reborn into [the plane of] non-percipient beings: the truth of origin has not arisen for them there, but it is not the case that the truth of suffering does not arise for them there. For those of the Pure Abodes at the moment of the dissolution of the rebirth mind, and for those passing away from [the plane of] non-percipient beings: for them there, the truth of origin has not arisen and the truth of suffering does not arise.
