Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1009

[1009] For whomever, wherever, the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) will not arise, will the wisdom faculty (paññindriya) … will the mind faculty (manindriya) not arise for that one there? Those in immediate succession to whose mind (citta) the final mind (pacchimacitta) associated with joy (somanassa) will arise — for them, there, the equanimity faculty will not arise, but it is not the case that for them, there, the mind faculty will not arise. For those endowed with the final mind and for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā) — for them, there, the equanimity faculty will not arise and the mind faculty will not arise. Or, for whomever, wherever, the mind faculty will not arise, will the equanimity faculty not arise for that one there? Yes.
