[1101] For whom the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) arises, will the faith faculty (saddhindriya) arise for him? For males in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn, the masculinity faculty arises, but the faith faculty will not arise for them. For the other males who are being reborn, both the masculinity faculty arises and the faith faculty will arise.
Or, for whom the faith faculty will arise, does the masculinity faculty arise for him? For all who are passing away and for non-males who are being reborn, the faith faculty will arise, but the masculinity faculty does not arise for them. For males who are being reborn, both the faith faculty will arise and the masculinity faculty arises.
