[1100] For whomever the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) arises, will the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) arise for that one?
For final-existence (pacchimabhavika) males while they are being reborn, and for those males who, having been reborn with joy (somanassa), will attain final Nibbāna, while they are being reborn: for these the masculinity faculty arises, but the equanimity faculty will not arise for them. For the other males while they are being reborn: for these the masculinity faculty arises and the equanimity faculty will arise.
Or rather, for whomever the equanimity faculty will arise, does the masculinity faculty arise for that one?
For all while they are passing away, and for non-males (napurisa) while they are being reborn: for these the equanimity faculty will arise, but the masculinity faculty does not arise for them. For males while they are being reborn: for these the equanimity faculty will arise and the masculinity faculty arises.
