Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1264

[1264] For whomever, wherever, the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) arose, will the faith faculty (saddhindriya) arise for that one there? For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), the eye faculty arose for them there, but the faith faculty will not arise for them there. For the other beings of the five-constituent existence, the eye faculty arose for them there and the faith faculty will arise. Or, for whomever, wherever, the faith faculty will arise, did the eye faculty arise for that one there? For the formless beings (arūpa), the faith faculty will arise for them there, but the eye faculty did not arise for them there. For beings of the five-constituent existence, the faith faculty will arise for them there and the eye faculty arose.
