[180] For whomever, wherever, wholesome phenomena (dhammā) arose — will unwholesome phenomena arise for that one there?
In the case of those endowed with the highest path (aggamagga), of Arahants, and of those who will obtain the highest path immediately after [a given] mind (citta): for them there, wholesome phenomena arose, but unwholesome phenomena will not arise for them there. In the case of the others — those with four aggregates (catuvokāra) and those with five aggregates (pañcavokāra) — for them there, both wholesome phenomena arose and unwholesome phenomena will arise.
Or alternatively: for whomever, wherever, unwholesome phenomena will arise — did wholesome phenomena arise for that one there?
In the case of those of the Pure Abodes (suddhāvāsa), while the second mind is occurring: for them there, unwholesome phenomena will arise, but wholesome phenomena did not arise for them there. In the case of the others — those with four aggregates and those with five aggregates — for them there, both unwholesome phenomena will arise and wholesome phenomena arose.
