[197] For whomever, wherever, wholesome phenomena (kusalā dhammā) cease, do indeterminate phenomena (abyākatā dhammā) cease for that one there? In the immaterial plane (arūpa), at the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of wholesome states, wholesome phenomena cease for them there, but indeterminate phenomena do not cease for them there; in five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), at the moment of dissolution of wholesome states, for them there both wholesome phenomena cease and indeterminate phenomena cease.
Or alternatively, for whomever, wherever, indeterminate phenomena cease, do wholesome phenomena cease for that one there? For all who are passing away, and, in the course of existence (pavatta), at the moment of dissolution of a mind (citta) dissociated from the wholesome (kusala-vippayutta-citta), indeterminate phenomena cease for them there, but wholesome phenomena do not cease for them there; in five-constituent existence, at the moment of dissolution of wholesome states, for them there both indeterminate phenomena cease and wholesome phenomena cease.
