[292] For whomever wholesome phenomena (dhammā) do not arise, do indeterminate phenomena not cease for that one?
For all who are passing away, and, during the course of existence (pavatti), at the dissolution-moment of mind (citta): for them wholesome phenomena do not arise, yet it is not the case that indeterminate phenomena do not cease for them. For all who are being reborn, and, during the course of existence, at the arising-moment of a mind dissociated from the wholesome, and, in the immaterial (arūpa), at the dissolution-moment of wholesome and unwholesome [phenomena]: for them wholesome phenomena do not arise, and indeterminate phenomena do not cease.
Or rather, for whomever indeterminate phenomena do not cease, do wholesome phenomena not arise for that one?
At the arising-moment of wholesome [phenomena]: for them indeterminate phenomena do not cease, yet it is not the case that wholesome phenomena do not arise for them.
