[199] For whom wholesome phenomena (kusalā dhammā) do not cease, do unwholesome phenomena (akusalā dhammā) not cease for that one?
At the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of the unwholesome, wholesome phenomena do not cease for those (beings), but it is not the case that unwholesome phenomena do not cease for them. For all (beings) at the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of mind (citta), at the moment of dissolution of a mind dissociated (vippayutta) from the wholesome and dissociated from the unwholesome, for those who have attained cessation (nirodhasamāpanna), and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta) — for these, wholesome phenomena do not cease and unwholesome phenomena do not cease.
Or, for whom unwholesome phenomena do not cease, do wholesome phenomena not cease for that one?
At the moment of dissolution of the wholesome, unwholesome phenomena do not cease for those (beings), but it is not the case that wholesome phenomena do not cease for them. For all (beings) at the moment of arising of mind, at the moment of dissolution of a mind dissociated from the unwholesome and dissociated from the wholesome, for those who have attained cessation, and for non-percipient beings — for these, unwholesome phenomena do not cease and wholesome phenomena do not cease.
