[563] For whomever, wherever, the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) arises, does the joy faculty (somanassindriya) arise for that one there?
For those possessed of eyes (sacakkhuka) who are being reborn without joy (somanassa), the eye faculty arises for them there, but the joy faculty does not arise for them there. For those possessed of eyes who are being reborn with joy, for them there both the eye faculty arises and the joy faculty arises.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the joy faculty arises, does the eye faculty arise for that one there?
