[566] For whomever, wherever, the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) arises, does the wisdom faculty (paññindriya) arise for that one there?
For those with eyes, dissociated from knowledge (ñāṇa), who are being reborn: for them there the eye faculty arises, but the wisdom faculty does not arise for them there. For those with eyes, associated with knowledge, who are being reborn: for them there both the eye faculty arises and the wisdom faculty arises.
Or else, for whomever, wherever, the wisdom faculty arises, does the eye faculty arise for that one there?
For those associated with knowledge, without eyes, who are being reborn: for them there the wisdom faculty arises, but the eye faculty does not arise for them there. For those associated with knowledge, with eyes, who are being reborn: for them there both the wisdom faculty arises and the eye faculty arises.
