[592] For whomever, wherever, the life faculty (jīvitindriya) arises, does the wisdom faculty (paññindriya) arise for that one, there?
For those being reborn dissociated from knowledge (ñāṇa), and, in the course of existence (pavatta), at the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of a mind (citta) dissociated from knowledge — for them, there, the life faculty arises, but the wisdom faculty does not arise for them there. For those being reborn associated with knowledge, and, in the course of existence, at the moment of arising of a mind associated with knowledge — for them, there, both the life faculty arises and the wisdom faculty arises.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the wisdom faculty arises, does the life faculty arise for that one, there?
Yes (āmantā).
