[1148] For whomever, wherever, the wisdom faculty (paññindriya) arises, will the mind faculty (manindriya) arise for that one there?
At the moment of the arising of the final mind (pacchimacitta), for them there the wisdom faculty arises, but the mind faculty will not arise for them there. For the others associated with knowledge (ñāṇa) who are being reborn, and at the moment of the arising of a mind associated with knowledge in the course of existence (pavatti), for them there both the wisdom faculty arises and the mind faculty will arise.
Or, for whomever, wherever, the mind faculty will arise, does the wisdom faculty arise for that one there?
For all [beings], at the moment of the dissolution of a mind and at the moment of the arising of a mind dissociated from knowledge, for them there the mind faculty will arise, but the wisdom faculty does not arise for them there. For those associated with knowledge who are being reborn, and at the moment of the arising of a mind associated with knowledge in the course of existence, for them there both the mind faculty will arise and the wisdom faculty arises.
