[708] "For whomever, wherever, the life faculty (jīvitindriya) does not arise, does the wisdom faculty (paññindriya) not arise for that one there?"
"Yes."
"Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the wisdom faculty does not arise, does the life faculty not arise for that one there?"
"For those dissociated from knowledge (ñāṇa) who are being reborn, and, in the course of existence (pavatti), at the moment of arising of a mind (citta) dissociated from knowledge — for them, there, the wisdom faculty does not arise, but it is not the case that the life faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, and, in the course of existence, at the moment of dissolution of the mind — for them, there, the wisdom faculty does not arise and the life faculty does not arise."
