[719] For whomever, wherever, the wisdom faculty (paññindriya) does not arise, does the mind faculty (manindriya) not arise for that one there?
For those dissociated from knowledge (ñāṇa-vippayutta) and possessing mind (sacittaka) as they are being reborn, and, in the course of existence (pavatti), at the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of a mind (citta) dissociated from knowledge: for them, there, the wisdom faculty does not arise, but it is not the case that for them, there, the mind faculty does not arise. For all [beings] at the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of the mind, and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta): for them, there, the wisdom faculty does not arise, and the mind faculty does not arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the mind faculty does not arise, does the wisdom faculty not arise for that one there?
Yes (āmantā).
