Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 655

[655] Where the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) does not arise, does the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) not arise there? In the immaterial [plane] (arūpa), the eye faculty does not arise there, but it is not the case that the equanimity faculty does not arise there. In [the plane of] non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), both the eye faculty does not arise there and the equanimity faculty does not arise. Or rather, where the equanimity faculty does not arise, does the eye faculty not arise there? Yes.
