Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 962

[962] "Where the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) will not arise, there the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) will not arise?" In the formless [plane] (arūpa): there the eye faculty will not arise, but it is not the case that the equanimity faculty will not arise there. In [the plane of] non-percipient beings (asaññasatta): there the eye faculty will not arise and the equanimity faculty will not arise. "Or rather, where the equanimity faculty will not arise, there the eye faculty will not arise?" Yes (āmantā).
