[864] For whom the joy faculty (somanassindriya) will arise, will the faith faculty (saddhindriya) … the wisdom faculty (paññindriya), the mind faculty (manindriya) arise for him?

Or, for whom the mind faculty will arise, will the joy faculty arise for him?
Those in immediate succession to whose mind (citta) the final mind (pacchimacitta) associated with equanimity (upekkhā) will arise — for them the mind faculty will arise, but the joy faculty will not arise for them. For the others, both the mind faculty will arise and the joy faculty will arise.
