[863] For whomever the joy faculty (somanassindriya) will arise, will the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) arise for that one?
Those immediately after whose mind (citta) the final mind (pacchimacitta) associated with joy will arise — for them the joy faculty will arise, but for them the equanimity faculty will not arise; for the others, both the joy faculty will arise and the equanimity faculty will arise.
Or, for whomever the equanimity faculty will arise, will the joy faculty arise for that one?
