Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 922

[922] "For whomever, wherever, the joy faculty (somanassindriya) will arise, will the faith faculty (saddhindriya) … the wisdom faculty (paññindriya), the mind faculty (manindriya) arise for that one there?" "Yes." "Or else, for whomever, wherever, the mind faculty will arise, will the joy faculty arise for that one there?" "Those in immediate succession to whose mind (citta) the final mind (pacchimacitta) associated with equanimity will arise — for them there the mind faculty will arise, but the joy faculty will not arise for them there. For the others — those of four-constituent existence (catuvokāra) and five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra) — for them there both the mind faculty will arise and the joy faculty will arise."
