Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 993

[993] For whomever, wherever, the nose faculty (ghānindriya) will not arise, will the faith faculty (saddhindriya) … the wisdom faculty (paññindriya), the mind faculty (manindriya) not arise for that one there? For beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and beings of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), the nose faculty will not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the mind faculty will not arise for them there. For beings in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), for them there both the nose faculty will not arise and the mind faculty will not arise. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the mind faculty will not arise, will the nose faculty not arise for that one there? Yes (āmantā).
