[1143] A phenomenon (dhamma) associated with pleasant feeling (sukhā vedanā) is a condition for a phenomenon associated with pleasant feeling by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya).
Having given a gift (dāna), undertaken virtue (sīla), and performed the uposatha observance with a mind (citta) associated with pleasant feeling, one reviews it with a mind associated with pleasant feeling. Having emerged from a jhāna associated with pleasant feeling, having emerged from the path (magga), having emerged from the fruition (phala), one reviews it with a mind associated with pleasant feeling.
Noble ones (ariyā), with a mind associated with pleasant feeling, review the abandoned defilements (kilesa) associated with pleasant feeling; they review the suppressed defilements; they know the defilements formerly indulged in. With a mind associated with pleasant feeling they see with insight the aggregates (khandhā) associated with pleasant feeling as impermanent, as suffering (dukkha), as not-self; they relish them, they delight in them. Taking that as object, lust (rāga) associated with pleasant feeling arises, view (diṭṭhi) arises … Taking as object the aggregates associated with pleasant feeling, aggregates associated with pleasant feeling arise.
