[1155] A phenomenon (dhamma) associated (sampayutta) with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling (adukkhamasukhā vedanā) is a condition, by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya), for a phenomenon associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling.
Object predominance (ārammaṇādhipati) and conascence predominance (sahajātādhipati).
Object predominance: Having given a gift (dāna), undertaken the precepts (sīla), and performed the uposatha observance (uposathakamma) with a mind (citta) associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling, having esteemed it, one reviews it with a mind associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling. Having emerged from jhāna associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling, having emerged from the path (magga), having emerged from fruition (phala), having esteemed it, one reviews it with a mind associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling.
