[1361] A phenomenon productive of result (vipākadhammadhamma) is a condition for a phenomenon productive of result by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya): object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati), conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati).
Object-predominance: Having given a gift (dāna), having undertaken virtue (sīla), having performed the uposatha observance (uposatha-kamma), one esteems that and reviews it; one esteems (deeds) formerly well done and reviews them; having emerged from jhāna, one esteems the jhāna and reviews it. Trainees (sekkhā) esteem change-of-lineage (gotrabhū) and review it; they esteem purification (vodāna) and review it; trainees, having emerged from the path (magga), esteem the path and review it. Having esteemed the aggregates (khandhā) that are phenomena productive of result, beings relish them and delight in them; having esteemed that, lust (rāga) arises, wrong view (diṭṭhi) arises …
Conascence-predominance: A predominance that is a phenomenon productive of result is a condition for the associated (sampayutta) aggregates by predominance condition.
A phenomenon productive of result is a condition for a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result (nevavipākanavipākadhammadhamma) by predominance condition: object-predominance, conascence-predominance.
Object-predominance: An Arahant (arahā), having emerged from the path, esteems the path and reviews it.
Conascence-predominance: A predominance that is a phenomenon productive of result is a condition for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by predominance condition.
A phenomenon productive of result is a condition for a phenomenon productive of result and for a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result by predominance condition — conascence-predominance: A predominance that is a phenomenon productive of result is a condition for the associated aggregates and for mind-originated forms by predominance condition.
