[1526] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not clung to and not subject to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya) is a condition for a phenomenon that is not clung to and not subject to clinging by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya): object decisive-support (ārammaṇūpanissaya), proximity decisive-support (anantarūpanissaya), natural decisive-support (pakatūpanissaya).
Natural decisive-support: The first path (magga) is a condition for the second path by decisive-support condition; the second path for the third; the third path for the fourth path; the path is a condition for the attainment of fruition (phala-samāpatti) by decisive-support condition.
