[1663] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is undefiled but liable to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika) and a phenomenon that is undefiled and not liable to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-asaṅkilesika), there arises a phenomenon that is undefiled but liable to defilement, by root condition (hetu-paccaya): Dependent on the aggregates (khandhā) that are undefiled and not liable to defilement and on the primary elements (mahābhūta), mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna rūpa) arises.
