[1008] Phenomena (dhammā) with roots to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka) and with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena-nabhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka) are a condition for a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabbahetuka) by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); they are a condition by way of decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
