[111] Conditioned by a phenomenon (dhamma) accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra), a phenomenon without thought-conception, with discursive thought only (avitakka-vicāramatta), and a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra), a phenomenon accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought arises by not-kamma condition (na-kamma-paccaya):
Conditioned by the aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought, and by thought-conception (vitakka) and the base (vatthu), volition (cetanā) accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought arises.
