[1122] A phenomenon (dhamma) leading neither to accumulation nor to dispersal (nevācayagāmināpacayagāmi) is a condition for a phenomenon leading neither to accumulation nor to dispersal by prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya): object-prenascence (ārammaṇa-purejāta) and base-prenascence (vatthu-purejāta).
Object-prenascence: An Arahant (arahā) contemplates with insight the eye … the base (vatthu) as impermanent (anicca), as suffering (dukkha), as not-self (anattā); he sees form with the divine eye (dibbacakkhu), hears sound with the divine ear element (dibbā sotadhātu). The form base (rūpāyatana) is a condition for eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa), the tangible base (phoṭṭhabbāyatana) for body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa), by prenascence condition.
Base-prenascence: The eye base (cakkhāyatana) is a condition for eye-consciousness, the body base (kāyāyatana) for body-consciousness; the base is a condition for the aggregates (khandhā) leading neither to accumulation nor to dispersal by prenascence condition.
