[1123] A phenomenon that is neither leading to accumulation nor leading to dispersal (nevācayagāmināpacayagāmī) is a condition for a phenomenon leading to accumulation (ācayagāmī) by prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya): object-prenascence (ārammaṇapurejāta), base-prenascence (vatthupurejāta).
Object-prenascence: Trainees (sekkhā) or worldlings (puthujjanā) contemplate with insight the eye … the base (vatthu) as impermanent, as suffering (dukkha), as not-self; they relish it and delight in it; with that as object, lust (rāga) arises, grief (domanassa) arises. One sees a form with the divine eye (dibbacakkhu); one hears a sound with the divine ear element (dibbā sotadhātu).
Base-prenascence: The base is a condition for the aggregates (khandhā) leading to accumulation by prenascence condition.
