[1718] An unfixed phenomenon (aniyata dhamma) is a condition for an unfixed phenomenon by prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya): object-prenascence (ārammaṇa-purejāta) and base-prenascence (vatthu-purejāta).
Object-prenascence: One contemplates with insight the eye (cakkhu) … the base (vatthu) as impermanent …, relishes it, and delights in it; taking that as object, unfixed lust (rāga) arises. With the divine eye (dibba-cakkhu), a form …; with the divine ear element (dibbā sotadhātu) one hears a sound. The form base (rūpāyatana) is a condition for eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa), the tangible-object base (phoṭṭhabbāyatana) for body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa), by prenascence condition.
Base-prenascence: The eye base (cakkhāyatana) is a condition for eye-consciousness; the body base (kāyāyatana) …; the base is a condition for the unfixed aggregates (khandha) by prenascence condition.
