[1422] A limited (paritta) phenomenon (dhamma) is a condition for an exalted (mahaggata) phenomenon by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya).
With the divine eye (dibbacakkhu) one sees a form; with the divine ear element (dibbā sotadhātu), a sound … With the knowledge of penetration of the minds of others (cetopariyañāṇa) one knows the mind (citta) of one endowed with a limited mind.
Limited aggregates (khandhā) are a condition for the knowledge (ñāṇa) of supernormal powers (iddhividha-ñāṇa), for the knowledge of penetration of the minds of others, for the knowledge of recollection of past lives (pubbenivāsānussati-ñāṇa), for the knowledge of faring according to kamma (yathākammūpaga-ñāṇa), and for the knowledge of the future (anāgataṃsa-ñāṇa), by object condition.
