Paccanīyapaṭṭhāna

[154] A phenomenon (dhamma) accompanied by thought-conception (vitakka) and discursive thought (vicāra) is a condition, by way of predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya), for a phenomenon without thought-conception and with discursive thought only, and for a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought. Conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati): a predominance accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought is a condition, by way of predominance condition, for thought-conception and for forms originated by the mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
