[1580] A phenomenon (dhamma) with an exalted object (mahaggatārammaṇa) is a condition for a phenomenon with a limited object (parittārammaṇa) by way of predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya).
Object predominance (ārammaṇādhipati): Having esteemed (garuṃ katvā) the reviewing (paccavekkhaṇā) of the first jhāna, one reviews it; having esteemed the reviewing of knowledge of the future (anāgataṃsañāṇa) … Having esteemed the limited aggregates (khandhā) that have an exalted object, one relishes them; having esteemed them, lust (rāga) with a limited object … wrong view (diṭṭhi) arises.
