[1983] A phenomenon (dhamma) with a past object is a condition for a phenomenon with a future object by way of predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya). Object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati): Having esteemed the future sphere of infinity of consciousness (viññāṇañcāyatana) … the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception (nevasaññānāsaññāyatana) … having esteemed the future knowledge of supernormal powers (iddhividha-ñāṇa) that has a past object … the knowledge penetrating the minds of others (cetopariya-ñāṇa) … the knowledge of the recollection of past abodes (pubbenivāsānussati-ñāṇa) … the knowledge of beings' faring according to their kamma (yathākammūpaga-ñāṇa) … having esteemed future aggregates (khandhā) that have a past object, one relishes them, delights in them; having esteemed that, lust (rāga) with a future object arises, wrong view (diṭṭhi) arises.
