[2144] A phenomenon with an internal object (ajjhattārammaṇo dhammo) is a condition for a phenomenon with an internal object by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya):
One reviews the sphere of the infinity of consciousness (viññāṇañcāyatana) that has an internal object; one reviews the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception (nevasaññānāsaññāyatana); one reviews the divine eye (dibbacakkhu) that has an internal object and is internal; the divine ear element (dibbasotadhātu) … the knowledge (ñāṇa) of supernormal power (iddhividha-ñāṇa) … the knowledge of the recollection of past lives (pubbenivāsānussati-ñāṇa) … the knowledge of faring according to kamma (yathākammūpaga-ñāṇa) …; one reviews the knowledge of the future (anāgataṃsa-ñāṇa).

One sees with insight the internal aggregates (khandhā) that have internal objects as impermanent …; one relishes and delights in them; taking that as object, lust (rāga) with an internal object … grief arises.
Internal aggregates that have internal objects are a condition for the knowledge of the recollection of past lives, for the knowledge of faring according to kamma, for the knowledge of the future, and for adverting (āvajjanā), by object condition.
