One reviews the past divine eye (dibbacakkhu); one reviews the divine ear element (dibbasotadhātu); one reviews past knowledge of supernormal powers (iddhividha-ñāṇa) that has a present object; the knowledge penetrating the minds of others (cetopariya-ñāṇa) …
Noble ones (ariyā) review abandoned defilements (kilesa) with a present object; suppressed defilements …; those formerly indulged in …
They see with insight past aggregates (khandha) with a present object as impermanent …; they relish them, they delight in them; taking that as object, lust (rāga) with a past object … grief (domanassa) arises.
Past aggregates with a present object are a condition, by object condition, for the knowledge penetrating the minds of others, for the knowledge of reminiscence of past lives (pubbenivāsānussati-ñāṇa), for the knowledge of faring according to kamma (yathākammūpaga-ñāṇa), and for adverting (āvajjanā).
