[217] A phenomenon (dhamma) with thought (vitakka) and with examination (vicāra) and a phenomenon without thought and without examination are a condition, by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya), for a phenomenon without thought, with examination only.
At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), the aggregates with thought and with examination and the base (vatthu) are a condition, by connascence condition, for thought.
