[2177] In dependence on an invisible impinging (anidassana-sappaṭigha) phenomenon and an invisible non-impinging (anidassana-appaṭigha) phenomenon, a visible impinging (sanidassana-sappaṭigha) phenomenon (dhamma) arises through root condition (hetu-paccaya). In dependence on the invisible non-impinging aggregates (khandha) and the primary elements (mahābhūta), visible impinging mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) arises. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), in dependence on the invisible non-impinging aggregates and the primary elements, visible impinging kamma-born form (kaṭattā-rūpa) arises. In dependence on the invisible impinging aggregates and primary elements and the water element (āpo-dhātu), visible impinging mind-originated form and kamma-born form — that is, derived form (upādā-rūpa) — arise. In dependence on the tangible-object base (phoṭṭhabbāyatana) and the water element, the form base (rūpāyatana) arises.
In dependence on an invisible impinging phenomenon and an invisible non-impinging phenomenon, an invisible impinging phenomenon arises through root condition. In dependence on the invisible non-impinging aggregates and the primary elements, invisible impinging mind-originated form arises. At the moment of rebirth-linking, in dependence on the invisible non-impinging aggregates and the primary elements, invisible impinging kamma-born form arises. In dependence on one invisible impinging primary element and the water element, two primary elements arise; in dependence on two primary elements and the water element, one primary element arises. In dependence on the invisible impinging primary elements and the water element, invisible impinging mind-originated form and kamma-born form — that is, derived form — arise. In dependence on the tangible-object base and the water element, the eye base (cakkhāyatana) and the taste base (rasāyatana) arise.
In dependence on an invisible impinging phenomenon and an invisible non-impinging phenomenon, an invisible non-impinging phenomenon arises through root condition. In dependence on the invisible impinging primary elements and the water element, invisible non-impinging mind-originated form and kamma-born form — that is, derived form — arise. In dependence on the tangible-object base and the water element, the faculty (indriya) and edible food (kabaḷīkāra āhāra) arise.
