[2209] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is invisible and impinging (anidassana-sappaṭigha) is a condition for a phenomenon that is invisible and non-impinging (anidassana-appaṭigha) by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya).
Object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati): having given weight to the eye … the body, to sounds, to odours … to tangible objects, one relishes and delights in them; having given weight to that, lust (rāga) … view (diṭṭhi) arises.
