[44] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) with thought and with examination (savitakka-savicāra), a phenomenon without thought, with examination only (avitakka-vicāramatta), and a phenomenon without thought and without examination (avitakka-avicāra), there arises a phenomenon with thought and with examination … At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), dependent on one aggregate (khandha) with thought and with examination, on thought (vitakka), and on the base (vatthu), three aggregates [arise]; dependent on two aggregates … the aggregates [arise] dependent on the base by dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya).
Dependent on a phenomenon with thought and with examination, a phenomenon without thought, with examination only, and a phenomenon without thought and without examination, there arises a phenomenon without thought and without examination … Dependent on the aggregates with thought and with examination, on thought, and on the great primary elements (mahābhūta), mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) [arises]; [it arises] dependent on the aggregates and on thought by dissociation condition; at the moment of rebirth-linking, [form arises] dependent on the aggregates and on thought by dissociation condition.
