[459] A phenomenon (dhamma) with thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) and a phenomenon without thought-conception, with only discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta), are a condition for a phenomenon with thought-conception and discursive thought and for a phenomenon without thought-conception, with only discursive thought, by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); they are a condition by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
