[633] In dependence on a phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena pahātabba) and a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by cultivation (neva dassanena na bhāvanāya pahātabba), a phenomenon to be abandoned by seeing … not by root condition (na-hetupaccayā).
In dependence on the aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā) and the base (vatthu), [there arises] delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt.
