[788] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) with a root to be abandoned by seeing, there arises a phenomenon with a root to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development, not by root condition (na-hetupaccayā). Dependent on the aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā), [there arises] delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt.
