[80] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra), there arises a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought, by not-prenascence condition (na-purejāta-paccaya): In the immaterial plane (arūpe), dependent on one aggregate (khandha) without thought-conception and without discursive thought, three aggregates … ; dependent on aggregates without thought-conception and without discursive thought, mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) [arises]; dependent on discursive thought (vicāra), mind-originated form [arises]; at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa) … . Dependent on a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought, there arises a phenomenon with thought-conception and with discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra), by not-prenascence condition: At the moment of rebirth-linking, dependent on the base (vatthu), aggregates with thought-conception and with discursive thought [arise]. Dependent on a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought, there arises a phenomenon without thought-conception, with mere discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta), by not-prenascence condition: In the immaterial plane, dependent on discursive thought, aggregates without thought-conception, with mere discursive thought, [arise]; at the moment of rebirth-linking … .
