[81] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) with applied thought and sustained thought (savitakka-savicāra) and a phenomenon without applied thought and without sustained thought (avitakka-avicāra): seven [ways].
Dependent on a phenomenon without applied thought and with sustained thought only (avitakka-vicāramatta) and a phenomenon without applied thought and without sustained thought, there arises a phenomenon without applied thought and with sustained thought only, by not-prenascence condition (na-purejāta-paccaya): in the immaterial (arūpa), dependent on one aggregate (khandha) without applied thought and with sustained thought only and on sustained thought (vicāra), three aggregates [arise]; at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa) … (Abbreviated.)
