Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (2) · Vol. 41 · Section 67

[67] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is without thought-conception but with discursive thought only (avitakka-vicāramatta), there arises a phenomenon that is without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra), by not-object condition (na-ārammaṇa-paccaya): Dependent on the aggregates (khandhā) that are without thought-conception but with discursive thought only, mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna rūpa) arises; dependent on thought-conception (vitakka), mind-originated form arises. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi-kkhaṇa), dependent on the aggregates that are without thought-conception but with discursive thought only, form produced by kamma (kaṭattārūpa) arises. At the moment of rebirth-linking, dependent on thought-conception, form produced by kamma arises.
