[834] Conditioned by a phenomenon (dhamma) whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by mental development (nevadassanena-nabhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka), there arises a phenomenon whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by mental development, by dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya).
Conditioned by one aggregate (khandha) whose roots are to be abandoned by mental development (bhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka), three aggregates and mind-originated materiality (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) [arise]; conditioned by two aggregates … The aggregates [are conditioned by] the base (vatthu) by dissociation condition; the mind-originated materiality [is conditioned by] the aggregates by dissociation condition. Conditioned by the delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā) …; conditioned by the delusion accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca), mind-originated materiality [arises]; [it is conditioned by] the delusion by dissociation condition.
At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa): conditioned by the aggregates, the base [arises]; conditioned by the base, the aggregates [arise]; the aggregates [are conditioned by] the base by dissociation condition; the base [is conditioned by] the aggregates by dissociation condition. Conditioned by one primary element (mahābhūta), three primary elements [arise]; conditioned by the primary elements, mind-originated materiality and kamma-born materiality (kaṭattā-rūpa) that is derivative materiality (upādā-rūpa) [arise]; [these are conditioned by] the aggregates by dissociation condition.
